Marton, last night. The second day's racing at Bulls passed off successfully t.nder favorable conditions. The totalisator receipts were L 4142, showing an increase of LllBO. The total for both days was L 9335, against L 6475 last spring. The results were : Hack Hurdles. —Merry Boy 1, Inchcape 2, Old Gun 3. Also started : Aitua and Redshanks. A good race. Won by a length. Time, 2.57 2-sths. Divs., L 3 3s and ns.
Telegraph Handicap. Ringlet 1, Zealous 2, Mongonui 3. Chasseur also started. Won easily. Time, 1.6 3-Sths. IJiv., 1.2 45.
Arautamahi Steeplechase.—The Swimmer 1, -Sir Athol 2, Shylock 3. Also started : Jack O’Lanterri, The Phantom, I.nchade, Opaku, Eucharis, and King Lear. At the second fence Eucharis, Jack O’i.antern, and Kmg Lear ran off. In ;he second Kiuiid Lochade rind Opaku fell at the same fence. The race was won easily by a dozen lengths. Time, 5.50. Uivs., I-3 is and L 3 5-. Electric Hack. —Arautaumahi I, Meiry Boy 2, Waiirka 3 Also started : Terror, Oodona, -Saitey, Alert, Flanagan, Bounce, Valima, and Coon. Won by half a length. Divs., Lit 13s and I-3 is. Time, 1.36 3-3ths. Hack Steeplechase. Juggler 1, Old Gun 2. Other starters, Clovis and Scabbard (fell). Old Gun, when leading in tho second round, fell, but was remounted. Time 6.5, div. £3 10s,
Killeymoon Hack. Mariant’nus 1, Ringman 2, Lifebelt 3. Also started: Nioti, Blackwing, ; In-tho-Van, Aroha, Otaio. A good race. Won by a short length. Time 26, diva. £1 13s and £1 17s. September Handicap.— Fakir 1, Bowman 2, Rubin 3. Also started: Halberdier, M, I wood, Convoy, Toa, Minerva, Beau Ideal, Zealous, Sensation, Undia, Fairy Dream. Won by two lengths. Time 1.4 3 5, divs. £2O 5s and £1 12s. Mr Gardiner, rider of King Lear on the first day, fractured bis collar-bono.
