SHIPPING.
The s.s. Weka arrives to-day from Napier with sheep. The Rangitara left London on the 3rd instant, and is due at Port Chambers on the 27th October. The scow Southern Isle (Captain Darragh) arrived from Greymouth yesterday morning, after a rough passage occupying ten days. Her cargo consisted of rimu timber. The s.s. Foreric, under charter to the Union Company, has left Vancouver for Auckland. She is due at Auckland next week.
The barque Pleione, on which 15 guineas per cent, reinsurance had been paid, has arrived at London from Sydney. Tho following is tho passonger list by the To Anau, which continued her voyage to Auckland yesterday morning : Inwards : Misses Williams, Fox, Humphries, Neill, Ludlow; Mosdamos Donkin and 8 children, Redmond, Addis ; Mossrs Hogg, Jucks, Natusch, Deogan, Gibbs, Buttle, Bowen, Moore, Eliott, Barton, Todd, Gurginski, Smith, Jellio, Bridge, Douglas, Young, Doherty (2), Hislop, Hood, Sushams, Boswell, Hofland, Konnody, Hallam. Outwards : Mosdames Hamilton, Clark; Mastor Ramsay ; Messrs Herrick, Dunn, Baxondall, Nolan, Clark, Monish; JudgoConolly. The steamer Hawoa left the Bluff at 5 last ovoning for Oamaru, Timaru, Napier, and Gisborno. She arrives at Gisborne on Monday next. Among tho cargo is a valuable horse for Mr Watson. The Omapero arrived at Tokomaru yesterday afternoon, and then went on to Tolago, and arrivos at Gisborno this morning. Sho loaves for Napier at 5 this afternoon. The Waikare left Wellington for North at 6 last evening, and arrives at Gisborne to-morrow morning, continuing tho voyage at 10 a.m., for Auckland and Sydney. UNION STEAMSHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS.
Friday, 19th.—Oraaporo arrives from Auokland and Coast ports and loaves for Napier. First launch on arrival, last 5 p.m. Friday, 19th.—Efawea arriyos from South during the aftornoon and leaves for Auckland. Last launch 4 p.m. Saturday, 20th.—Waikaro arrives from South early and leaves for Auckland and Sydney. First launch 6 a.m., last 10 a.m. Sunday, 21st.—To Anau arrives from Auckland during tho afternoon, and leaves for South. First launch on arrival, last 5 p.m.

Wellington.—Arrived, Westralia from Sydney ; 7.30 a.m., Athenic, from London, via Hobart There are passengers for Gisborne. Those for Napier are: Saloon, Mr and Mrs H. Guthrie-Smith ; 2nd saloon, Miss E. Collins, Mr and Mrs Pierson, Master Pierson. Lyttelton.—Sailed, 8 45 p.m. 17th, Waikare for Wellington. Auckland.—Sailed, 2.30 p.m., Tomoano, for Napier.
