The bird stands out in a prominent way among a large number of other exhibits, and has been admired by large throngs of people. The bird seems to know that he is there to be admired, and struts around in the pen, and regards the onlookers in a most condescending fashion, as if he were an aristocrat of the highest order, as he certainly is of his class in the feathered tribes.”
