A GOOD SPEECH BY LORD LONDONDERRY.
By Telegraph—Tress Association —Copyright London, Sept. 13. Reitz on tho 25th starts a lecturing tour m America, the proceeds to bo devoted to his own maintenance aud to aid tho Boers. At a cyclists’ church parade held at Wynyard Park, the seat of Lord Londonderry, in aid of the Soldiers’ Help Society, Lord Londonderry, in course of a speech, regretted that instead of showing practical sympathy with disabled, sick and unemployed soldiers, the people cheered tho Boer generals, who were mainly responsible for the prolongation of the war. Hu hoped that tho country would remember their duty. It would be a disgrace if unhappiness and discomfort wero allowed to como upon those who had nobly fought and bled for us.
