NO LEGAL REMEDY AGAINST COMMONWEALTH.

An action brought agaiust the Federal Postmaster, to recover damages sustained through the falling of an electric light wire, ended in plaintiffs being non-suited, owing to the Judge holding that the Federal High Court only had jurisdiction. He said that it was remarkable a High Court had not been established, the result being that there was no legal remedy against the Commonwealth,
