MINING DISASTER.
RESCUED AFTER BEING ENTOMBED 120 HOURS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, Sept, 9. Three men have been rescued from the Union mine. They were entombed 120 hours, and were foodless, except for a single meal. Three bodies have been recovered. Crowds at the pit’s mouth sang the Doxology when the men were recovered.
