A serious firo occurred at 8.20 to-night at Undrill and Co.’s furnituro warehouse, tho workshops at tho back of which were completely destroyed. Tiie brigade got to work quickly, but wero unablo to savo tho workshop, which is built of wood, but they prevented tho firo spreading to tho warehouse. The building destroyed is insured in the Livorpool, London, and Globe, but the amount could not be ascertained. Tho stock in the workshop is insured for X2OO in the Manchester, and tho warehouse for XoOO in the North British, this risk being only slightly damagod by wator and smoke, All the employees lost thoir tools.
