At a mooting of tho Canterbury Crickot Association it was rosolved to engago tho services of A. Mcßoth, a professional bowler, if sufficient support is forthcoming from clubs, Tho amount of guarantee required from tho Association in conjunction with tho visit of Lord Hawke’s toam is .£250, but canvassers find that thoy are ablo to almost double this sum. Already over £4OO has been guaranteed.
