Tho Australians commenced a match at Harrowgato against the following team of Playera :—Vino, Dovy, Relf, Washington, Quaifo, Arnold, Killick, Llewellyn, Trott, Gaukrodger, Tate. From tho Australians were omitted Noble, Kelly, and Gregory. Tho Players have lost five wickets for 180.

Tho weather was dull, Bhowors delaying tho start. The Players won the toss, and batted. Vino and Levy oponed. Tho former, when five, was caught by Darling. Ono for 15. Washington contributed seven and was caught by Armstrong. Two for 27, Levy had 85 to his .credit when he was run out. Three for 02. Quaifo and Arnold made a good stand, and carried tho total into the 90’s before Saunders bowled Arnold, four for 08. Without any addition to tho score tho samo bowler captured Rolf, making his 100th wicket for tho tour. Killick partnered Quaife, and they wero still together at tho tea adjournment.
