(Special to Times.j Waihi, last night. Mr A. Y. Ross, jun,, has been elected 60 a seat on the Council, as a protest against the Council’s action re the testimonial promised to him. He was elected by a majority of 89, Mr Brown, his opponent, being one of the most popular men in Waihi.
