AILING TROOPERS.
[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Auckland, Saturday.
A report from Motuihi states that the Montrose invalids aro all doing well, with tho exception of Troopers C. Love and L. D. Morgan, who both caught cold on tho journey from tho Montrose. Sergeant Pierard and Corporal Lo Compte, who volunteered to nurse tho scarlot fever cases, have both been stricken down by that disease. Some of the troopers in tho district hospital passed a bad night, but aro not in a sorious condition.
Wellington, Saturday. To-day’s report states that tho troopers on the Bick list and tho small-pox patient are all doing well. Two more cases of sickness wero reported yesterday, Farrier Ross, of scarlet fever, and Farrier Nolsoui of entoric. Both belong to tho Eighth Contingent.
