PRISONERS SPLASH THE GRUEL ABOUT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Perth, Aug. 22. Thirty prisoners at Fremantle Prison rushed the kitchen, seized the gruel and threw it over the floor, the walls, and the warders. Assistance arrived, and the rioters were overpowered. Eight were sentenced to a month in irons.
