PATUTAHI SCHOOL FIRST TO SUBSCRIBE. ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTEEN
CONTRIBUTIONS. , Tho Patutabi School was tho first in i tho district to unfurl the flag, and it is pleasing to note that they are again to • the front in taking up tho Cook Memorial movement. That tho mattor was enthusiastically taken up is ovident from the fact that every child signed the subscription list and gavo a donation ranging'.from one penny to a shilling. We congratulate Mr J. Woodward, tho headmaster, and the pupils of tho school on the enterprise they havo shown in this matter. The list from tho Patutahi School contains 116 names, tho total amount collected being £1 16s 9d.
