SHIPPING.
The Union Company’s s.s. Te Anau left for Auckland at to a m. yesterday. Passengers Outward: Mr and Mrs Ritchie ; Miss Caller; Messrs Hookey, Robertson, and Reeves. The s.s. Weka arrived from Napier yesterday morning with a cargo of timber, house blocks, and general sundries The steamer returned to Napier via Whangawehi. The Huddart, Parker Co.’s steamer Elingamite arrived from Sydney and Auckland at 9.30 last night. Passengers : —From Sydney : Mrs Palmer. From Auckland : Mesdames Matthews, Con- . nolly and two children, Courtney and child ; Messrs Hood, Franklin, Mac Lean, Taylor, Kerwtch, Gray, Connelly, O’Neill, Knapinan, Elmsley, and Dryden. Outward : Mesdames Kennedy and' son, Moore, Reilly, Lawson and Bougen ; Misses Beere, White, Torlett, Hart, Burgess, and Dowling ; Messrs Pettigrew, Buttle, Keesing, P. Keiha, Hamlin, Anderson, Monkton, Hawkes, Hogg, Reilly, Ritchie, Lawson, Boyce, Douglas, Afford, Jackson, and Gordon. The Union S.S. Co. are advised that that the s.s. Umta left Calcutta on August Bth for Wellington. She then proceeds to Auckland to complete discharging. The s.s. Omapere left Wellington at 2 p.m. yesterday. She leaves Napier at 4 p.m. to-day, arrives early to-morrow, and sails at It a.m for Coast ports and Auckand UNION STEAMSHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS. Friday.—Omapere arrives from Napier, &C., early, and leaves for Const ports. First launch 6 a.m., last 11 a.ut. Saturday, 23rd. —Wnikaro arrives from South early, and leaves for Auckland and Sydnoy. First launch 0 a.m., last 10 n.in. Sunday, 24th.— To Anau arrives from Auckland during the afternoon, and leaves for South. First launch on arrival, last 5 p.tn. TELEGRAPHIC SHIPPING. Yesterday.
