BULLER’S BLUNDERS.

FURTHER EXPOSURE,

By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, Aug. 20. A Blue Book dealing with tho war shows that Sir Redvers Buller, a fortnight before the battle of Colenso, had accurate information as to Sir George Whito’s supplies in Ladysmith. Lord Roberts, on January 26th, hearing that Spionkop had been abandoned, suggested to Sir Redvers Buller that if he was not confident of forcing his way into Ladysmith he should wait at Tugela Hill. Lord Roberts himself was in the Free State.

Buller, on February 4th, wrote regarding tho expected attack on Ladysmith: “ White affects to be confident, but I don’t know if ho really is. Ido not think your move into the Free State would much affect tho position here.”
