SHIPPING.
The heavy rain experienced yesterday greatly interfered with shipping operations and very little work was done at the wharves. The Te Anau leaves for Auckland at 8 o'clock to-morrow morning The Httddart, Parker Co.’s steamer Elingamite arrives from Sydney to-mor-row afternoon, and leaves for the South in the evening. UNION STEAMSHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS. Wednosday, 20th.—To Anau arrives from South early, and leaves for Auckland. First launch 0 a.m., last 8 a.m. Thursday.—Oinapero arrives from Napier, &c., early, and leaves for Coast ports. First launch 6 a.m., last 11 a.m. Saturday, 23rd. —Waikaro arrives from South early, and loaves for Auckland and Sydney. First launch 6 a.m., last 10 a.m. Sunday, 2dth.—To Anau arrives from Auckland during the afternoon, and loaves for South. First launch on arrival, last y p.in.
