BOERS EMIGRATING,
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyr'ght London, Aug. 14. It is reported that Reitz is going to Paris to negotiate a settlement of Boer families in Madagascar. Lack of transport is hampering the resettlement of Boer farms. Some are returning to the town. Agents are trying to persuade discontents to emigrate to German territory and Madgascar. Farmers complain that a syndicate of burghers are buying horses and mules at the military sales, and reselling them at L 5 to Lio profit. Lieutenants F. Willis, Weir, McKillop, Lowrie, Moss, Davis, Grace, SurgeonMajor Milne-Thompson, Surgeon-Captain McLachland, Veterinary Captain Neale, and 47 New Zealanders have left the Cape lor England.
