MR SEDDON.

Tho Itnporial Defonce League has presented Blr Seddon with an illuminated address expressing admiration of tho patriotic efforts of the colony. Blr Seddon, in reply, thought that fair trade and preferential treatment of tho Blotherland was on tho right lines. Although not pessimistic, he anticipated that there would shortly bo a depression in trade.
