| Among the criminals sentenced by Judge Owen at the Sydney Criminal Court the other day was a hoary-headed man named Edward Moore, who appeared in the dock in a doubled-up condition. He got four years for burglary. This sentence makes the thirteenth passed on Moore, and the number of years he has served in prison is in the gaol books as 49 years 3 months. As far back as 1853 for highway robbery he received 10 years cm the roads.
