MAN OUT TO PIECES ON RAILWAY By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Saturday. John Ross, of Deep Stream, was cut to pieces on being run over by a train at Owhiro, near Mosgiel, last night. He was walking along the lino. Dunedin, last night. Tho man who was killed and cut to pieces on the railway south of Mosgiel has been identified as John Ross, a miner, working at Deep stream, lie was in a carriage by himself, proceeding to Allanton. Tho guard told him at Owhiro that ho should get out at tho second station further on. Looking for him at Allanton tho guard found tho carriage empty. Evidently he had got on to tho platform, and fell off on to tho lino. Ho was about 50 years of age.
