REV. BEET PROMISES TO BE GOOD.

Tho Rev. Dr Beet has been re-appointed principal of Richmond College, securing 329 votes, against 235 cast for tho Rev. Mr Lockyer. The committee blamed tho Rev. Beet for an error of judgment in publishing his book. They suggested that ho should refrain from such teaching, and not publish anything on the subject without the consent of the Conference. Dr Beet promised compliance.
