THE PREMIERS.
VISIT TO GLASGOW.
STRONG REMARKS BY MR
SEDDON,
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, July 29. The Premiers are visiting Glasgow. Sir Edmund Barton, in a speech, emphasised the abounding opportunities in Australia, not for paupers, but for mon with small capital and plenty of independence. Mr Seddon said that the Motherland and Colonies ought to join in a common bond to meet American competition. British workmen and manufacturers were unequalled in the world.
