The Union Company’s s.s. Waihora left for Auckland and Sydney at 11 a.m. on Saturday, taking tlio following passengers from this port: For Sydney: Messrs llennio and Coppel. For Auckland: Misses Itoid, Chisholm; Mrs South; Messrs Dcßborough, Wright, Thompson (2), Gili, Ward, Macfarlane, Ormond, Burton, Nibhioo, Thomas and Gordon.
Messrs Richardson and Co.’s s.s. Fanny arrived from Napier on Saturday, bringing a cargo of 5682 ft timber, 5464 posts, and sundries. The stoamer returned to Napier in tho evening. Tho Union Company’s s.s. Corinna leaves Napior at 10 a.m. to-morrow, and arrives hero about 7 p.m. She will bo despatched at 8 p.m. for Auckland, taking cargo only, as she has no passenger accommodation.
The schooner Gisborne sailed for Auckland on Saturday. Thoro being no steamer loaving here for South on Sunday, Aug ist 3rd, intending passengers should leavo per Mararon on Wednesday next. Tho schooner Awanui left for Mercury Bay on Saturday, The Omapero is duo from the Coast this morning, and leaves to-day for the South. Tho To Anau arrived from Auckland at 3.60 yesterday afternoon, and in tho evening proceeded South, rnssengers:—lnward: Mesdamos Millar, Wallace, Cox, Parris ; Messrs Harris, Alloo, Stewart, Johnston, Williams, Hatnon, Jaine, Judd, Robb, and 6 steerage. ...Outward : Misses Valentino, Williams, McGlinchy, Mrs Kelly ; Messrs Dowing, Furby, Buchanan, Burrows, Moyers, Graham, Shacklock, Ilenway, Goddard, Hood, Kruger, Sullivan, McKenzie (2), and Pilchor. t Tho schooner Aotoa (Captain Skinner) left Auckland on Saturday for coastal ports and Gisborno.
