Tho Kilcunda Collieries Company, Victoria, was floated with a capital of £540,000, issuing 150,000 ten per cent, preference shares. The vendor takes 30,000 ordinary and 50,000 preference shares.

The wool sales yesterday were firm. There were some withdrawals owing to the iiigii reserves. Americans are operating in crossbreds. The Oreti clip sold at fljjd, and Ohoka at lO.'jd. Sydney, July 25. Drafts of New Zealand sheep arrived lato for yesterday’s sales, but buyers awaited thorn. One hundred and fivo, on behalf of Mr Scales, of Wellington, sold at 29s 6d ; somo 200, on behalf of other Now Zealand agents, ranged from 31s (id to 38s 6d.

Ho anticipates obtaining £134,000 by financial adjustments, including £25,000 by an increased railway rato.
