CONFERENCE IN ENGLAND.

After a preliminary Inter-Colonial Conference, attended by Sir Edmund Barton, Mr Soddon, Sir Wilfrid Laurior, and other Canadian Ministers, it was agreed to defer discussion of the question of the common interest of Australia and Canada until Canada has been visited. Sir Edmund Barton, Mr Scddon, and Lord Selbourne confer to-day with the Admiralty respecting Australasian naval requirements.
