Mr McNab adoptod Sir Joseph Ward s suggestion, and tho debato was adjourned. Tho Mining Act Amoridraent Bill (Mr Guinness) and tho Coal Mine Act Amendment Bill (Mr Guinness) were read a socond timo pro forma. Tho House thon went on to deal with tho Stato Firo Insurance Bill. Tho House resumed at 7.80 pan. After further debate, tho second reading of tho Stato F'iro Insurance Bill was agreed to on the voicos. Tho Local Authorities Indemnity Bill, Stato Coal Minos Act Amendment Bill, Unclaimed Monoys Act Amcndmont Bill, and Sharebrokers Bill woro real a second timo, practically without debato. Tho Houso rose at 10 p.m.
