SITTINGS CONCLUDED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. At the Farmers’ Conference this morning Mr Glass, the colonial organiser, made a statement of tho work done by him since May, last year, when he became organiser. He thought tho Union had no further need for a general organiser, and that was why he hud resigned. The Provincial Councils could carry on futuro work. The Vico-Presidont, Mr Headley, referred to tho valuable services of Mr Glass, and expressed a hopo that tho members of tho Union throughout tho colony would show thoir opinion of this in a substantial manner. It was decided that one of the questions to be asked political candidates should be : Are you in favor of tho Government sotting up a Royal Commission to consider tho working of the co-operative labor system V It was resolved that a circular letter bo issued by the Colonial Executive Committcs to Provincial Executives pointing out the services rendered by Mr Glass, and asking for subscriptions towards making him a substantial recognition of his work. Tho Conference concluded with various votos of thanks and a vote of 20 guineas to Mr Hall for his services as secretary,
