It provides living and sleeping accommodation and for 213 bedrooms for the staff. The Princo expressed thankfulness to God for the King’s merciful recovery. The King and Queen and the whole of the Royal family were cheered in their severe trial by the deep sympathy from every part of the Empire. Tho watchers at tho sick bed realised how much, humanly speaking, was due to tbo eminent surgical and medical skill, and highly trained nurses it was the King’s privilege to enjoy. Tho nurses had a right to be proud of their honorable career. Their services were invaluable in tho recent war.
