The Federal revenue for the year was £11,30-1,000, and the expenditure £3,557,000. After deducting new expenditure there is loft for distribution £7,373,000. Queensland receives £905,000, Tasmania £315,000. Western Australia £1,220,000. The Treasurer is enabled to give half a million more than he estimated. Customs yielded £8,908,000, and Post and Telegraps £2,378,000.
