SHIPPING.
The Union Company’s s.s. Mararoa (Captain Smith) arrived from Sydney and Auckland shortly after noon yesterday. Passengers : —lnward : Misses Jones ; Mesdames Skipworth and child, Mules ; Messrs Skipworth, J. Buchanan, Gamble, Jacobio, Parker, Brigden, O'Grady, Goodwill. Tho steamer loaves for the South this morning, the last launch leaving the wharf at 6 o’clock.
The U.S.S. Company's s.s, Omapore worked Tokomaru Bay, Wuipiro Bay, and Tuparoa yesterday, and remained at Port Awanui last evening. Tho auxiliary sohooner Aotoa (Cuptnin J. H. Skinner) sailed for Coast ports and Auckland ycstarday. The scow Bravo arrived at Ngunguru on Monday. The following cargo was shipped at this port by tho s.s. Indraghiri:—Shipped by Williams and Kettle, Limited : 309 casks tallow, 21 cases sausage casings, 21 oases meat extract, 992 frozon quarters beef. Shipped by Dalgety and Co.: 1G bales slipe wool, 2 bales scoured wool. Shipped by the Gisborne Shcepfarmcrs’ Freezing Company: 48 bales slipe and 29 bales scoured wool, 48 casks pelts, 179 casks tallow, 1681 frozen quarters beef, 9073 frozen carcases mutton, 79 carcases lamb. The s.s. Tarawera loft Napier at 8 p.m. yesterday. She arrived early this morning, and leaves for Auckland at 8 a.m. sharp. UNION STEAMSHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS.
