By Telegraph—Press AssociationCopyright. SUVA, June 26. King Edward’s sovereignty over Fiji was declared this morning. ‘ Twenty rokos, or provisional native Governors, were sworn in. The Administrator read" a letter to the Native people. from the King, thanking them for the hurva, in honor of the late .Queen. He assured the Fijians of his personal interest in their welfare, and exhorted them to give no heed to those who cause disaffection, but to obey the Governors set over them for their good, whose laws were his laws, and to pay just taxes without murmur.
The Coronation ceremonies were postponed.
His Majesty’s Government has ordered the abandonment of all Coronation ceremonies.'
