By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland last night. Tho Executive of the Licensed Victuallers’ Association has requested the hotelkeepers to close their promises on Coronation Day from 9 till noon. FOUND DROWNED.

Ihe mooting passod a vote of thunks to the Committee, and the majority of the soven who offored themselves were re elocted. VETERANS’ HOME.

A public meeting, convoned by the Mayor, was hold to-day to consider tho proposal of the Governor to establish a homo for Imporial naval and military veterans, to commomorato tho Coronation and servo as a memorial to the fallon in the Boer war. A strong committee was appointed to gather information re coat, otc., and to roport to a future meeting.
