THE BEST MEMORIALS.

'(To, the Editor o£ the Times). ; Sir, —I quite agree with your suggestion that the best Coronation memorials that Gisborne can go in for are a swimming bath and a band rotunda. The latter, if placed in Poel street, near Townley’s corner, would not interfere with the traffic any more than the trees which are planted thero do, and it would certainly be the most central position available. With regard to a swimming bath, it could be erected either alongside tho groin or in the river. It would be a great boon to the public, and would fittingly celebrate the Coronation of Our Most Gracious Sovereign King Edward VII. —I am, etc., Pro Bona Publico.
