RAILWAY PASSES.
By Telegraph—Press Association — Copyright. BRISBANE, June 12. The Minister for Railways has decided to abolish free railway passes, which lie estimates last year cost the State £530,000. In future all State departments will pay like the general public. BIG COMPANY.
The Central Queensland Meat Company lias been registered with a capital of one hundred and fifty thousand pounds to acquire the business of the Central Meat Export Company. TIMBER TRUST. The leading timber merchants have formed a trust to protect the interests of the trade.
