ADDINGTON MARKET.

At tho Addington market to-day, 209 fat cattlo wore ottered, mostly prime sorts. All met with a good sale at 19s 6d to 24s 6d per lOOlbs. Primo bullocks sold from £l2 to £l4 17s 6d. Prime steers, £9 to £ll 10s ; lighter sorts, £5 10s to £8 10s; prime heifers, £9 to £ll 5s ; othors, £5 as to £8 10s; cows, £5 to £7 and up to £8 12s 6d for prime fat. Ovor 0000 sheep wero yarded, 'mostly good sorts. Tho market was weaker by Is per head for wethers, and easier all round for ewes. Freezing wethers sold at from 16s 61 to 18s 5d ; maiden ewes, 15a 6d to 18s 6d; ewes for export, 10s 6d to 15s 6d ; butchers’ best ewes, 12s to 15s 4d ; othors, 9s to 11s; extra prime morino wethers sold from 18s to 20s 6d : others from 11s to 13s 6d. Fat lambs: There were 800 lambs offered, mostly of a better quality, and there was a fair clearance at 10s 6d to 183 3d for oxport, and 6s 6d to 10s for others.

Store sheep : In store sheep there was a mixed entry of over 4000, and although there was a bettor cloaranco prices were easior. Backward wothors brought from 10s to 11s 4d, and bettor sorts were passed at 13s. Good sound young ewes sold from 13s 9d to 14s 7d ; a few aged sorts, 2s to 4s 9d ; lambs, 6s 3d to Bs. Pigs: There wero over 400 yarded, and there was a greatly improved demand in all classes. Buyers were especially keen in fat baconers, which sold from 35s to 535, or 3Jd to 4d lb ; porkors sold from 20s to 80s, or 4d lb ; stores realised 10s to 18s, and suckors and weaners 5s to Bs.
