THE SHAREHOLDERS PREFER LIQUIDATION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, last night. At the meeting of tho Magnetic Gold Dredging Company it was decided to go into voluntary liquidation. It was this Company’s dredge that in the days before tho boom gained returns, which, with tho Electric Company’s, brought Kawarau into prominence. No success has attended its efforts lately, and although there is a considerable area of unworked ground, the shareholders are averse to putting in more money.
