Licensing Case.

[BY TELEGRAPH. - PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, last night. A charge of failing to admit the police to his licensed premises was . brought today against the licensee of the Swan Hotel, Mr White. The case was dismissed. The defence was that the door at which the police knocked was one seldom used. It was always kept locked, and the delay in opening it was necessitated in order to find the key.
