TOKOMABU BAY. (Prom Oat Own Correspondent.) The weather has bean exceptionally fine for this time of the year this last week, with sharp frosts at the back, and cold winds everywhere. The election for Councillor was carried out in a most good natured mannor, and resulted in a win for Mr Hindmarsh by one veto. WAIPIBO. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Mr F. A. Hargraves has again been successful in securing the first prize in the Animal Study Competition of tho Auokland Weekly Nows. Ho has always on hand some very fine country sconory. Mr Murray, representative of Robjohns, Napier, visited Waipiro this week. Mr Kirk, Inspector of Native Schools, is at present working his way in this direction, and is oxpectod horo in a few days. A general meeting will be hold in the schoolroom, Waipiro Bay, on Saturday evening next, having for its object the formation of a football club. All those interested are invited to attend. Mr W. Warrqn is acting as secretary, pro tern.
