Fire at Papanui.
By Telegraph—Press Association Christchurch, last night. A seveneeu-roomed house at Papanui, the property of Mrs Henry Matson’s trustees, and occupied by Mrs Michael Campbell, was totally destroyed by 1 fire this afternoon. Tho tiro was caused by a defective chimney. Tho house was insured in the New Zealand office for £BOO, and Mrs Campbell’s furnituro for £2OO in the Imperial and £2OO in the Farmers’ Cooperative.
