By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrigh: Brisbane, May 27.
A report from Mitchell states that a party of police surprised tho Kenniffs on Friday. They were camped at the edge of big scrub, and the police almost cordoned them. Subsequently two horses were stolen from the district.
The Kenniffs shot a horse just as the police came up and captured tho horses — those in connection with which Dalke and Doyle were pursuing the Kenniffs. Besides a large quantity of revolver and rifle cartridges, the police secured a number of saddles and bridles, stock, and food.
