With preferential trade the Colonies would be able to greatly ease the burdens of the tax-payers by giving trade to Great Britain. DECLARATION OF PEACE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Loudon, May 27. Replying to the Capetown Corporation’s address of welcome, Mr Seddon said he felt peace was not far away. He advocated a colonial open door for British products.
