Empire Skating Rink.
TO-NI3HT. It should be hardly necessary to remind our readers of the opening of the Empire Skating Eink, at the Theatre Royal tonight. The fascinating pastime of rollerskating is again becoming very popular throughout New Zealand, and the boom seems to be in a fair way of being quite as popular as in 1188: The management of tbe Empire are sparing no trouble or expense to put everything in order for tbe convenience and comfort of their patrons, and we feel sure their efforts will be rewarded with a bumper house to-night. The brass quintette especially engaged for the opening have prepared a popular programme, and the army of carpenters employed on the floor will have everything in readiness for the opening. The rink will be open again on Saturday night, and every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday until further notice,
