STOCK SALES.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. will hold their next stock sale at xUatawhero yards on Thursday next, when they will offer 3100 wethers, 1200 ewes, and 400 hoggets; also 200 head of cattle, including 100 heifers, 21-year-old, 50 steers, and cows and calves. A number of porkers will also be offered. Mr J. W. Bright, will conduct the sale. Messrs Williams and Kettle will hold their monthly sale of stock on the same day, when a fine lot of sheep will be offered, including 800 Romnev cross-bred hoggets, 400 store wethers, 400 full-mouth empty ewes : also 200 head of cattle, including 35 station cows in calf, 40 weaners, 25 eighteen-month-old steers, and 70 forward steers. Mr A. F. Kennedy will officiate as auctioneer.
Messrs Common, Shelton and Co.’s next sale will bo held at Waerenga-a-hika on June s:h, and Messrs Dalgety and Co.’s sale at Makaraka will take place on Thursday, June 19th. Next Wednesday week Messrs Wyllie and Mason will sell by auction the whole of Mr B. Little’s live and dead stock, comprising forty head of cattle, 28 horses, sheep-dogs, dray, spring cart, buggy and harness, as well as the whole of his household furniture and effeots,
