WRECKAGE AT NORTH CAPE.

A lator telegram from Hohoura re tho wreckage on the West Coast near the North Cape states that a large quantity of timber Hitches came ashore, also a ship’s tub aud hatch. It is feared that an outward-bound timber vessel has met with disaster. So far, thero is nothing to indicate the identification of tho vessel.

The Konigg Oscar, which sailed from Kaipara for Glasgow on May 7th with a cargo of timber, is believed to be the only vessel which recently left with timber flitches. The flitches found on the West Coast are branded ICT.C. The Konigg Oscar was loaded by tho Kauri Timber Company. Tuo vessel left Kaipara on the niglic of tho big gale, and it is feared she may be the unfortunate craft. The cargo was 82,500 feet of timber flitches.
