Postal Parcel Delivery.

(To the Editor of the Times). Sir, —Can you inform me how it is that in Gisborne one does not receive parcels sent by post until two or three days after the receipt of letters sent by the same mail ? Recently I have received parcels from the South, and whilst I get my lettors on the Satnrday and Wednesday mornings I often do not get parcels until the Tuesday and Friday. Don’t you think that a postcard sent to each person for whom there is a parcel waiting at the office would ensure quicker delivery ?—I am, etc., Hustler.
