THE CATHEDRAL. By Telegraph—Press Associc tion. Christchurch, last night. The sum of £I9OO has been collected for the Cathedral Completion Fund. Seven thousand pounds aro needed, and efforts are being made to raise tho balance by appeals to the people of tho city and provinces. PLAGUE PATIENT. The plague patient Shields continues to improve. The littlo hoy Rogers was removed from Lyttelton to-day to the hospital erected on the site selected by Dr. Mason at Bottle Lake.
