CORONATION CELEBRATIONS.
WHAT CHRISTCHURCH IS DOING.

Christchurch, last night. The demonstration in connection with the Coronation will be on the same lines as those at the time of the Royal visit. The local bodies will be asked to contribute £SOO between them, and the same sum from Government. Neighbouring local bodies are co-operating with Christchurch in regard to the celebrations. WANGANUI’S PROGRAMME. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wanganui, last night. In connection with tho Coronation celebrations it has been decided to carry out the following programme : —A military parade in tbe morning, followed by united religious services ; in afternoon, a big demonstration, planting of two oaks, saluting the flag by the school children of the district, and a procession through the town in the evening, the town to be illuminated, and a fireworks display to take place.
