ROUGH ON RATS.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland, last night. At tho meeting of tho City Council the Engineer at the pumping station reported that during April 1290 rats had been burned at the station, being an average of 39 per day. Up to date 12,321 had been consumed.
