The fourth series open on July Bth, and is limited to 300,000 bales. The Waikato’s shipment of New Zealand frozen apples was a failure. They were of a poor quality, and unsuited for the London market.
Copper, spot, three months, 54 8-8 lead, 111 1-16.
Wheat: The American visible supply is estimated at 40,476,000 bushels. Three Australian cargoes sold at 30s, ono at 30s ljd, and another at -9s 101 d.
