A MILLION IN REVERSIONARY
BONUSES.

The report to be presented at the annual meeting of the Australian Mutual Provident Society next week shows that the new business for the year was £3,733,064, new premiums amounting to £195,385. The cash surplus funds over liabilities is over six hundred thousand pounds. Out of this £583,725 will be distributed, providing reversionary bonuses amounting to about a million. The Board proposes to seek Parliamentary authority to increase its powers of investment. The accumulated funds have been increased by over £834,000, and now amounts to £17,865,000.
